A Ripple in the Force...

Hey kids;

I didn't mean to stop posting videos from SHOT, but for no apparent reason what worked perfectly for two days simple stopped working. That is SOOOOOOOO Internet!!!

Anyhow, I'm going to try again tonight, and if it doesn't work I'm going to wait until I get back to my desktop tomorrow and put the stuff up...stuff like Cylinder & Slide's custom 1908 Colt Pocket Model in...,45 ACP; the Tactical Solutions' 1911 .22 conversion unit threaded for suppressors; Mossberg tactical shotguns, etc.

Sorry for the delay!!!

BTW, I will be making a major annoucement about the future of SHOOTING GALLERY and additional programming concepts on Monday.

Stay tuned!

A C&S 1908 pocket rocket?
That sounds very interesting. I could do with a 9mm, or better yet, a repro of the .380 ACP.
Those flat, no bulge, no sharp edges pocket pistols were wonderful!
Bonnie Parker would be proud.

Are you sure you want to go back to the winter wonderland? FL doesn't sound like a bad place to be right now!

ps-thanks again for the good job on the vids.

Mike

I'd be happy with a LW commander clone in 45 auto for less than $500.

That's the ticket...

Michael:A BIG Thank You for taking some time out of your totally hectic schedule at SHOT Friday evening and showing myself and my 2 buddies some damn fine southern hospitality! You are a class act & a fine rep for The Outdoor Channel!

I see that Mitt Romney was escorted around the SHOT show the other day. He must have broken your camera.

About your internet problems, there's a great haiku about MS Windows which seems to apply to the internet too:
It worked yesterday
It does not work today.
Windows is like that.

Didn't I read in my IT history books that the internet was designed to survive nuclear war? Maybe that feature will be in the next release.

They don't let me NEAR celebrities!!!!

Stephen...gdi fun, and thanks for the drink (a local dark ale aged in bourbon casks, BTW).

Lawrence, don't be holding your breath now! Suck it up and buy the new STI .45 ACP Escort introduced at SHOT. See it here: http://www.stiguns.com/

Medium expensive little bastard ($1024 MSRP), but an LW forged aluminum Commander-length frame and an Officer's length slide...plus a 3rd gen STI Recoilmaster system that is based on the only short-slide 1911 recoil system that actually works! I was sitting around drinking with Brother Skinner, who owns the company, and I asked him when he was going to introduce the LW Commander model. His exact comment was, "Good lord, Michael! Is there no pleasing you! "

THANK YOU ALL for the kind words! More video coming...and an announcement!

Hey Michael, any news on the Ruger No. 1 in 450/400 Nitro Express? You had a piece on it last August, but I notice it's not in Ruger's '07 catalog and I haven't seen it mentioned in any of the online SHOT show reports.

Regarding your big announcement, I just got an email that Cowboys for this week is canceled. Is there any connection, and who do we have to kill at the Outdoor Channel?
